OUR WORK

Our work starts with people.

Our workk is shaped by what communities tell us, what we learn together and where there is an opportunity to create meaningful change.

We organise our work around four connected social justice pillars and develop programmes that support people, strngthen communities and amplify community voice.

OUR SOCIAL JUSTICE PILLARS

Four connected areas of focus.

Our four social justice pillars reflect the contexts in which our work is organised, funded and delivered. Every activity, partnership and funding application sits under one or more of these pillars.

  • Supporting people leading or serving communities while managing long-term conditions
  • Holistic wellbeing, restorative practices and prevention
  • Health inequalities affecting Black  Global Majority women

  • Domestic abuse prevention and survivor-informed practice
  • Young carrers and care-experienced young people including care leavers
  • Rights, choice and dignity for vulnerable adults
  • Support for unpaid careers
  • Safe spaces to advocate, be heard and challenge systemic exclusion

Community, Heritage & Collective Care

Building belonging through shared stories, identity, cultural contunuity and the collective wisdom already held within communities.

We focus on:

  • International healing and storytelling
  • Heritage, identity and cultural celebration
  • Faith community partnership
  • Community cohesion, inclusion and belonging
  • Recognising caregivers in every capacity
  • Recognising the strengths held within Black and Global Majority communities

How our work connects.

Our pillars are not separate silos - they strengthen each other. We listen deeply, learning together and take action alongside communities to create change.
