
Grace supports Simply Communities with community engagement, communications and practical project coordination. With a diploma in Mass Communications, a degree in International Relations and currently pursuing a Master’s in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies, she brings strong organisation, communication skills and an international perspective to the team.
Jadine Ayipeh : Director
Jadine is an Adult Nurse and women’s health professional with experience across health and social care. She has developed a particular interest in women’s holistic wellbeing, health, and safety, with a commitment to ensuring women’s experiences and needs are recognised.With a degree in Adult Nursing and postgraduate study in Gynaecological Oncology, Jadine brings specialist knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of women’s health. She currently manages a team, bringing practical leadership and people-management experience to her work. Her earlier experience across health and social care has also given her an understanding of the needs and experiences of older people.
Jadine is part of Simply Communities because she believes people’s health and wellbeing are closely connected to the wider circumstances in which they live. She is particularly passionate about creating greater awareness of women’s health and wellbeing and ensuring that issues affecting women are recognised and addressed.
At Simply Communities, Jadine brings her health and social care experience, clinical perspective and leadership skills. She contributes particularly to work connected to women’s health, holistic wellbeing, safety and community understanding.

Carmen is a People & Culture professional, qualified counsellor and Christian leader with a strong passion for advocacy, inclusion and empowerment. Through her professional and community-focused work, she has developed a particular interest in supporting women, including those who have experienced domestic abuse, and creating spaces where people feel heard, supported and able to move forward.
Carmen brings a people-centred approach to leadership. Her experience includes developing people-focused initiatives, facilitating conversations around difficult and often overlooked issues, and creating spaces where people feel safe to speak openly. She brings particular strengths in people management, communication, SEND and developing practical approaches that support positive change.
Carmen is part of Simply Communities because she believes communities should be active participants in shaping the issues that affect their lives, rather than simply recipients of decisions made for them. She believes meaningful change begins with listening, building trust and creating opportunities for people to develop and use their voice.
At Simply Communities, Carmen brings her People & Culture experience, counselling perspective, administrative strengths and faith leadership. As a CIPD Fellow, she brings professional experience in people management alongside strong organisational and administrative skills. She has a particular strength in managing information and web filing, and brings a thoughtful, analytical and practical approach to developing ideas and supporting organisational structure.
Outside of Simply Communities, Carmen is passionate about faith, empowering women, personal development, writing and supporting others.

Debra is a community transformation leader, facilitator and qualified Advocate with over 25 years’ experience in the voluntary and community sector. Her work has given her a broad understanding of the relationship between communities, voluntary organisations and statutory services, particularly across health and social care and education.
Over more than two decades, Debra has developed experience across health and social care, community engagement and development, advocacy, co-production, programme design, facilitation, self-leadership and leadership. She holds a PGCE in Further Education, is a Qualified Social Prescriber and has completed Women-Centred Coaching certification. She brings insight into statutory services and how the experiences and voices of individuals, families and communities can be better understood within them. She is also currently an MBA candidate.
Debra established Simply Communities because she believes community transformation begins from the inside out. She believes people should not simply be consulted about issues affecting their lives, but supported to understand their experiences, recognise their strengths and have meaningful opportunities to influence what happens next.
At Simply Communities, Debra provides strategic direction, bringing together the organisation’s vision, programmes and partnerships. She contributes particularly to community transformation, advocacy, programme design, self-leadership and creating opportunities for communities to be heard and take action.
Outside of Simply Communities, Debra is passionate about leadership, personal development, writing and helping people recognise what is possible in their next chapter.
